Boroondara Neighbourhood Watch volunteers send their

condolences and thoughts to the families of those police officers

who were tragically killed on Wednesday, 22 April, in Kew.

Our sympathies to all members of Victoria Police who

we are so lucky to work with.

Neighbourhood Watch Boroondara Inc is administered by a volunteer Committee which meets bi-monthly and includes police representatives.  There are more than 200 active volunteers in Boroondara. We promote crime prevention by distributing police advice leaflets to homes and businesses, participating in community events and producing local newsletters.

Neighbourhood Watch has been so successful in preventing crime that there are now 1,300 Neighbourhood Watch areas servicing both city and rural locations and totalling more than 900,000 households. 2.8 million people in Victoria live in Neighbourhood Watch areas which is approximately half the population.
